Cancellation & downgrade

To cancel your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads monthly subscription via our Shopify app (or any other eCommerce platform app integration we provide) you have two options:

  1. You may either delete/uninstall our app or
  2. downgrade your subscription from within your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads Dashboard.

Downgrading your subscription from one of our paid plans to our Basic (free) plan will allow you to continue using the Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads app and your Dashboard. However, you will be limited to Search and Display campaigns, only. To downgrade, enter your Clever Ads:

eCommerce Ads Dashboard > Settings > Downgrade.

Deleting or uninstalling our app will sever your connection with Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads, and therefore your paid plan subscription will be canceled from that moment. Depending on your Shopify/(other eCommerce platform) billing subscription period, and the date you delete our app — you may still see a charge from Clever Ads on your next Shopify (other eCommerce platform) billing subscription (see ECOMMERCE PLATFORM BILLING & THIRD PARTY APP BILLING for more details). Also, by deleting/uninstalling our app you will no longer have access to your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads Dashboard. Furthermore, you must pause or delete your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads created campaigns from within your Google Ads account. Deleting our app will not stop your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads created campaigns from running as they have already been uploaded to your Google Ads account. If you do not do this, your ads will continue to run and your Google Ads account will continue to be charged ad spend (by Google). Click here for instructions on how to pause/delete your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads created campaigns.

eCommerce platform billing & third party app billing

You will be invoiced by Shopify (or your respective eCommerce platform, if not Shopify) for using their services ("Shopify/other eCommerce platform billing subscription") on a 30-day billing cycle starting on the day you first purchase a Shopify/other eCommerce platform subscription. You will pay in advance for each subsequent 30-day billing cycle with Shopify or your respective eCommerce platform, if not Shopify.

Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads has a separate and independent 30-day billing cycle ("Third Party App subscription") from your Shopify/other eCommerce platform billing subscription — starting on the day that you first upgrade to a paid Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads plan. This cycle is recurring.

Your Shopify/other eCommerce platform billing subscription and your Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads Third Party App subscription will have different start/end dates.

However, you will be charged for all your Third Party App subscriptions (including Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads) as part of your Shopify/other eCommerce platform 30-day billing subscription. Click here for more information specifically on Shopify's App charges policy.

By upgrading to a paid plan with Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads or by failing to cancel a 14-day free trial period of a paid plan with Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads — you are agreeing to be charged for the full subscription period indicated (either monthly or annual). All charges from Clever Ads: eCommerce Ads are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed to in extremely rare circumstances by Clever PPC.
