Set up your Google Ads and Microsoft Ads conversion tracking
If you’re using Clever Ads and don’t have your conversion tracking configured for Google or Microsoft Ads, we provide you with the different codes you need to paste into your site, in order to properly configure the tracking.
Google conversion tracking set up
Google Conversion Tracking Set Up (track the dollar amount of each sale you make from your Google Ads)
If you’re configuring your conversion tracking for Google, we will provide you with the:
- Global Site Tag
- Event Snippet
The only thing you need to do yourself is copy the codes we give you, and:
- Paste the Global Site Tag in the <head> section of every single webpage from your domain; and
- Paste the Event Snippet in the <head> section of the final page a client reaches once they’ve made a purchase (this is usually a “thank_you” or “orders_confirmed” page).
Microsoft conversion tracking set up
Microsoft Conversion Tracking Set Up ( (track the dollar amount of each sale you make from your Microsoft Ads)
If you’re configuring your conversion tracking for Microsoft, we will provide you with the:
- UET Tag
- Conversion Goal
Once you have the codes, setting your conversion tracking is easy. Copy both of them from Clever Ads, and:
- Paste the UET Tag in the <head> section of every single webpage from your domain; and
- Paste the Conversion Goal in the <head> section of the final page a client reaches once they’ve finished a purchase (this is usually a “thank_you” or “orders_confirmed” page).
